SYNOPSIS
In the midst of the most recent reforms in energy and education in our country, an Applied Leadership in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency pilot program was developed and implemented by InTrust Global Investments, in collaboration with The Center for Health and Global Environment at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health as well as renowned specialists from diverse national and international institutions, in which 300 promising professors from 120 higher education institutions who are linked to rural communities were trained.
The country was divided in three regions in order to assign different locations for the program, where academia from every state of the country assisted.
Through this visual record, we narrate the story of three participants, who are commited to our country through their work and have managed to desing and develop renewable energy projects in their communities as a result of this effort.
